RBDigital Magazine and Newspaper Trial

As we look at the changing digital landscape and the increasing need for e-learning opportunities, Ms. Mueller and I went looking for resources to expand our e-reading options. 
 
It’s no secret that we offer e-reading with our AXIS360: Ebooks and Audiobooks service. However, did you know that e-content also includes magazines and newspapers? Now, through June 30, we are participating in an RBdigital trial to determine interest in purchasing these products for next year.

RBdigital is a state-of-the-art platform and app providing access to a variety of digital content services.

• Magazines - “features full-color, digital editions for instant desktop reading, mobile streaming, and mobile-app download. Patrons are able to select both new and back issues, adding them to personal reading libraries with no holds, no checkout periods, and no limits to the number of magazines checked out.” (RBdigital) 
• Newspapers - “Access 2,500+ newspapers, including 90 days of back issues. Read content from across the US and Canada, plus over 100 countries. Enjoy unlimited access to all newspaper content. Explore newspapers spanning 60 languages. Translate original language content in up to 16 languages. Search for topics, reporters, and contributors to easily find content.” (RBdigital)
• Bonus Content - As part of the trial, RBDigital opened up their audiobooks, ebooks, comics, entertainment, education, and health and wellness content for use as well.

Just follow these steps to access the trial.

• Mobile App access: Download RBdigital from your iOS OR Android app store. Insert the username/password, which can be found here. The name of the trial is RBdigital Customer Trial but the site will load automatically.
• Browser access: Go to the RBdigital URL. Insert the username/password, which can be found here.
