Using books to build a community one reader at a time. If there is one constant between the ACHS English Department and the Information and Learning Center, it is to bring their love of books and reading to students, staff, and community members. Years ago, we met and discussed various reading initiatives. As a result of our collaboration, the Sequoit Book Exchange was born. The Sequoit Book Exchange offers a place for people to take a book to read or to give a book for others to read. The Sequoit Book Exchange is conveniently located on the ramp between the commons and auditorium.
If you are interested in a book, there is no need to check it out. All you have to do is take the book off the shelf. If you have a book you would like to share with others, just put the book on the shelf. It’s that easy. If you do have larger book donations, though, you can drop the books off at the Information and Learning Center.
