Join Hannah and me as we begin to promote this list of fiction and nonfiction titles and the Abe Award program, which is designed to encourage high school students to read for pleasure and to become lifelong readers. Visit our digital media library Axis 360 to get a head start on your reading. In the fall, you can check out books in the Antioch's catalog. Students who read four or more titles from the list between now and next March can vote for their favorite book. Students who read all twenty join the ILC Reader Hall of Fame at their respective school. Students can register for the contest here. As we start to promote the 2021 list, we also retire the 2020 list. The 2020 Abraham Lincoln Book Award went to They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera. Let us know if you'd like a copy of the Abe 2021 poster or a colored copy of a flyer for your classroom! Happy reading!
