How many website bookmarks do you have? Like, 3,892? Here’s a new way to keep them organized: Symbaloo. This free service allows you to create multiple tabs, called “webmixes,” where you can build tiles to represent each of your bookmarks. It’s easy and <gasp> fun! Watch this one-minute video for a brief overview.

Preschool teacher Jenny Harrington and I collaborated this fall to use a free service, MailChimp.com, to send e-newsletters to parents of children enrolled in the Little Eagles Preschool program. The parents receive three emails a week, or one for every day class is in session. This is a fun way for them to see what activities their son or daughter has completed that day! Every year, when I renew my American Association of School Librarians membership, I’m always excited to see what resources they have for teachers. This year was no different. When I reviewed the list of offerings, I was reminded of two great teaching and learning resources that I just had to share with everyone: Best Apps for Teaching and Learning and Best Websites for Teaching & Learning.
