The New York Times is hosting their 4th Annual 15-Second Vocabulary Video Challenge. This challenge invites students to create a short video that teaches a vocabulary term. Deadline is February 28.  Interested?  Click here for more information. ​

Are you an aspiring writer? If so, challenge yourself by participating in the National Novel Writing Month's program. NaNoWriMo values "enthusiasm, determination, and a deadline for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel."  Starting November 1, participants have one month to write a 50,000 word novel.

The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing honors high school women who are active and interested in computing and technology, and encourages them to pursue their passions.
